Practical Information
Getting there
Kraków’s only international airport is located a 20-minute taxi or train ride away from the city centre.
The main railway/bus station (Kraków Główny) is in the city centre, right next to the Old Town. The closest tram stations are Teatr Słowackiego, Dworzec Główny Zachód, and Dworzec Główny Tunel.
Should you need it, taxi ranks are located above the train platforms. Most hotels in the Old Town are within walking distance from the main railway station (Kraków Główny).
From the airport:
- an uber/boltride to the city centre normally costs around 50 PLN (taxis available on the spot arereliable but charge more);
- public transportation: there is a train to the main railway station every 30 minutes, with a one-way ticket costing 17 PLN;trainconnections
- you can take bus 300 to stops with further bus/tram connections to the city center (Rondo Grunwaldskie or Muzeum Narodowe); if arriving after midnight, bus 902 can be taken to Teatr Bagatela. Tickets can be bought at the ticket machine at the bus stop or inside the bus, a one-way ticket costs 6 PLN. Tickets can also be purchased through apps such as this one.
Venue
All conference sessions will take place at the Faculty of International and Political Studies (Władysława Reymonta 4, 30-059 Kraków). All of the conference rooms are on the ground floor. The venue can be reached in 20-25 minutes by walking from Krakow Old Town. The closest bus stop is KrakówAGH/UR. The closest tram stops are Plac Inwalidów and Oleandry.
Accommodation options
If you are looking for a hotel in the vicinity of Old Town, then we recommend these places:

Meals
We will provide coffee during breaks, however lunches are not included.
The conference dinner will take place on September 9th. Its cost is not covered by the organisers.
Suggested places for lunch
The cafe at the venue has sandwiches, snacks, and cakes.
There are several places to eat on Krupnicza street (about 10 minutes walk from the Venue). Here are some suggestions:

Vegan AF Ramen (Japanese, vegan, fairly quick).
